SA's black president



Nelson Mandela becomes South Africa's first black president on the 10th May 1994, after more than three centuries of white rule.
 Nelson Mandela is a fighter for freedom  and the Human rights, as he had been in prison for about 25 years, during the apartheid government. He was the president of the ANC, African National Congress, the party which has governed South Africa for the last years.
Mandela received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 on behalf of all South Africans who suffered and sacrificed so much to bring peace to their land.
