THE PASSIVE VOICE

The Passive Voice

One of the conditions to write sentences in the Passive Voice is to have sentences with a Direct Object (complemento directo) in the Active Voice
because it's the Direct Object that turns into the Subject of the Passive Voice.
The verb Be (Aux. Verb) follows the tense of the main verb in the Active Voice .
The Main Verb ALWAYS comes in the Past Participle.

Eg.: -The dog ate the bone (Active Voice)- Simple Past

-The bone was eaten by the dog (Passive Voice)
