The Nobel Prize in Literature 2010- Mario Vargas Llosa

At Last!
The Nobel Prize in Literature for 2010 has been awarded to Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa on Thursday.


Peter Englund, the permanent secretary of the Swedish Academy made the announcement that Vargas Llosa had bagged the giant literary award ‘for his cartography of structures of power and his trenchant images of the individuals’ resistance, revolt and defeat.”
The Nobel Prize Literature 2010 award’s announcement was made in the lavish white and gold halls of the Swedish Academy in Stockholm.
The divinely gifted storyteller, Vargas Llosa, 74 got hugely happy after winning the coveted Nobel Prize in Literature for 2010. He was awarded the prize money $1.46 million.
The literary circles of the world and media personalities welcomed his winning and issued praiseworthy statements for the writer.
